St. Bart’s Christmas Fair was a beautiful sunny day and was well supported by helpers and visitors.
The fayre was opened by Kerry Bannon, chair of the Village Vision Group, of which the church is a part and there were stalls selling art, cards, cakes, second hand books, gifts, handicrafts and bric-a-brac. There was also a raffle with 4 hampers as prizes and refreshments, giving out freshly made scones, straight from the oven in the kitchen. Messy church children helped too, particularly Sophie, who sold the cards she had designed. The sum raised was an amazing £652.75, so well done everyone!
