Sound & Light Christmas Eve Carol Service 2017

Sound & Light Christmas Eve Carol Service 2017

A packed church congregation came once more to join in with the Christmas Eve Service. The Readings and Carols were interspersed with sound tracks and illuminated with special lighting effects. John, who had designed the effects, kept PJ and Bob at the controls, busy throughout but the Hallelujah Chorus was spectacular. Films clips from the ‘Life of Christ’ and ‘Birth of Jesus’ illustrated the Christmas Story and the finale of ‘Light of the World’ with pictures of Christ were particularly highlights. Our vicar led the prayers and the last two advent candles were lit by Sam and Ellie. It was lovely to see so many villagers in attendance and so many visitors joining them.

One of our parishioners wrote:

I’m writing to thank you and your team for a wonderful Carol concert. It was really magical and started Christmas beautifully. I loved the film clips relating to the readings. The man who took the part of Christ had a wonderful kind face. I loved that. Kindness is always beautiful.
