Messy Crafts at St Bart’s, 23rd Nov. 2019

Children flocked to church this morning to spend time preparing for Christmas doing all kinds of crafts.

There was writing to Santa, making clay or wooden tree decorations, nativities to make, figures to dress, fir cones to decorate and cards to make.

Refreshments were provided, including juice, ice creams, cake and biscuits and as the music played there was great activity at every table.

Well done to the Messy Church team who provided all the materials and organised a great, fun event.

Hi all,

It was fun this morning! Thanks to you all for your invaluable help. If I’m not mistaken it was our best turnout yet with 26 kids (at last count). I counted 50 people in total. It was certainly cozy 🙂

There’s also been some super feedback with comments like “I haven’t been in this church before, isn’t it beautiful!”, “The kids have had a fantastic time, please let me know about future messy church sessions” and “Even my ‘too cool for school’ son had a great time”.

So all positive! And thankfully I didn’t lose any kids during the reindeer hunt – phew! 😉

Thanks again,
