Sienna Jane Baptism

It was a fine sunny day when the Latham family returned to St. Bart’s for Sienna’s baptism. The Rev. Canon John Malbon officiated and welcomed Sienna to God’s family.

Blake William Goodier Baptism

Blake William Goodier was baptised at St. Bart’s by the Rev. Anne Lawson.
Proud parents, Mark and Samantha from Winsford had chosen the church for historical family links and were joined by many family and friends.

May Baptisms

We have had two Baptisms in May 2015.
The first on the 17th was for Dominic and Emma Jonas’ daughter, Natalia Anastazja.
Natalia was beautiful but had obviously been overdoing things the night before and slept most of her way through the service.

Then on the 24th, Lindsay and Nichola Murrell brought Jake Frederick Thomas.
Jake didn’t think much of the quick wash at the font in his new suit.
He took the towel off the vicar and dried himself.

We welcome them both and their families to our church.

Eleri Sue Rickett Baptism

Eleri took her baptism all in her stride today at St. Bart’s. Candles, singing, prayers and water, not one raised a single complaint.
Parents, Philip and Mari, were justifiably proud as they, the godparents and family watched the event.
Welcome Eleri and we hope to see you soon at Messy Church, joining in all the fun and games.

Baptism of Daniel Thomas Charlesworth

Proud parents, Dawn and James, brought Daniel for his Baptism to St. Bart’s today.
He was so well behaved that Rev. Anne had to wake him for his starring role at the font.
With many family and church members attending it was a full church and the service was enjoyed by all.
Celebrations continued afterwards in the village hall.

The photograph shows the immediate family with baby Daniel.

Baptism of Isabelle Katie Boote

We were pleased to welcome Isabelle Katie Boote to the church family today. Parents Tim and Liz proudly watched as the Rev. Rex Buckley performed the service. Many friends and family attended and to their number were added church members, who stayed on after the Messy Church service. Isabelle was delightful, although she gave the Rev. Rex a very puzzled look when he got to baptising her with water at the font. After the service there was a celebration at ‘The Highlands’.

God Bless Isabelle, Liz and Tim and see you soon.

Baptism of Harry Goodier

On Sunday 26th May, 2013, we welcomed Harry Michael Goodier to the church.
