Messy Christingle coming on 27th January 2019
Messy Christingle
Fun for all the family making a Christingle (and eating it) to celebrate Candlemas.
On 27th January we will be holding Messy Christingle, where we all make our own Christingles with oranges, sweets, and glow lights representing Jesus Christ the Light of the World.
Our Offertory is for The Children’s Society, a Charity which helps vulnerable children and young adults.

Cafe Church 18th Nov Information – Pursuit of Peace
Our service continues the Remembrance theme, as it is such an important milestone this year and our quest for peace.
We are asking people in advance, to bring in memorabilia, photos, medals, or artefacts to form a focal point for the service.
Then we would like people to share their stories, of those who either fought in a war or conflict, lived through these times at home or abroad and what sacrifices have been made in the name of peace.
If you would like to share a story yourself or would like one of the cafe Church Team to read it out on your behalf, then please let Tim or Jane Hough know in advance via timhough@btinternet.com
We already have some artefacts and stories, but would welcome more from the wider community.
This promises to be a very emotional and reflective service with hymns and prayers that will all be based on peace.
Maybe you’ve not been to Cafe Church before and want to give it a try, please come along, you’ll be made most welcome.
